My Story

I’m Tunde, and I try to do what I can to make a positive difference. I have almost 30 years’ experience of authentically leading, I do consultancy, I’m a qualified executive coach and a trustee a few times over. I may even have done some other good things too. Conscious Partnership is the vehicle for me to do more. “Conscious” is how we used to refer to someone who was aware of issues pertaining to Blackness and “Partnership” does what it says on the tin, that everything we might do together will be in partnership (you, me and maybe some of my fantastic network), as I know that I have not achieved anything alone.

If you are here it’s possible that you are thinking whether we could work together and, if so, thanks for considering me. You can reach me via the contact page.

Peace and love.

Did you know that in England & Wales you can’t officially be Black and English or, say, Asian and Scottish? “Oh yes you can”, I hear you say loudly and “oh no you can’t”, is my firm reply. At this point you might think I have taken leave of my senses. One might...

Being Black In the City

Being Black In the City

I was born in England. Croydon to be precise. Having moved north of the river at the age of four and with my football alliances being what they are, I normally withhold the inconvenient truth of my actual birthplace, but I’m sharing so I might as well start with that...
